Im really happy having this for my podcast listening. The developer makes regular updates keeping the app current!

I love how with the Apple offical podcast app, when I do a search, if my search term is in the podcast eppisode title, those come up. Yet with this app, when I search on a term it seams to only do searches on the podcast name. For example, I search on an author I like, Peter Boghossian, 31 episodes come up in the Apple official podcast app, (16 in Stitcher and 16 in TuneIn) yet when I try in iCatcher nothing comes up. I do like the way iCatcher remembers where you stopped listening, thus easy to start listening to your part-way listened to podcast.

Biggest complaint: the time, signal strength graphic, and battery indicator get stuck on the side after turning the phone to its side temporarily.

Use it every day to wind down before sleep.

I recently had to uninstall and reinstall this app because for some reason - the app suddenly kept defaulting to headphone place even if headphones werent plugged in After I reinstalled it that single issue was fixed but other issues came up like: it doesnt really background refresh podcasts, once in awhile it does, like maybe 1 time a day, but most of the times I have to manually refresh (background refresh in settings is enabled) It doesnt automatically start downloading the episodes (though the setting is set to) I cant seem to figure out how to prioritize one podcast , I dont understand the negative / positive priority thing though I feel Ive tried it different ways Next time I have to uninstall it reinstall or change phones in going to try a different app Would be nice to have Play All , auto play next Would be nice if there was an option to download and keep only the most recent episode and automatically remove the last and replace it with the newer one for hourly news casts Delete all in a category would be nice

iCatcher is the best podcasting app there is...Period!..End of Story! I have bought them all, but this is the only one I use. Buy it! You wont be sorry.

Bought it for the highly adjustable jump forward, love it for every thing else.

Ive been using this for a long time, and find it far superior to the alternatives. Unfortunately, the interface has a few annoying quirks, e.g. - Night mode is great... until you select a podcast episode and are blinded by the non-night-mode bright white description page. - Want to mark a podcast as "listened to"? The developer thinks checkboxes are buttons, so a Checked box = NOT marked, and an UNchecked box = marked. - Settings for how many podcasts to download or keep are really confusing. Probably useful if you can figure them out, but youd need a flow chart to do so. If not for these annoyances, there would be no need even consider other apps.

This app is the best for managing your podcasts. Everything just works. There are so many options and features to customize your experience. The developer is dedicated to keeping the app in tip-top shape and adds features continuously. The app receives frequent updates, never sitting idle for months at-a-time. Finally, the developer is responsive to feedback and will reply to emails from users.
